Florist And Beautician Find New Homes
Lattimer Homes takes great pride in creating beautiful places for people to live – and work.
Our twin developments in the centre of Dalston near Carlisle are now home to two fledgling businesses.
Roseberry Floral Design is a florist shop run by Sally Pigg on The Square in the former Co-op building, which we have been converting into apartments and commercial premises.
And across the road, Becky Nicholson has set up a beauty salon and day spa called Five Senses Hideaway at the side of the new Co-op store we have built in Dalston.
Sally said: “I am really happy with it. It is a really good site with big windows, which is ideal.” Becky added: “This is my first stand-alone business and I have had a lot of positive feedback since I opened at the end of February.”
Planning permission has been approved for another business to open at the site of the old Co-op in Dalston – possibly a take-away or eat-in fish and chip restaurant – once work has been completed. Three apartments will also be available for rent in the same building, including a penthouse flat on the top floor of the historic two-storey structure.
Anyone interested in living in one of the apartments or occupying the last remaining commercial premises should contact Lattimer Homes on 016973 71495.
