Good Luck George And Shaun
Lattimer Homes will be going for an unprecedented double in the national finals of the Pride in the Job Awards in London on Friday January 16.
Director George Lattimer is attempting to become the first person ever to win 10 UK titles at the annual awards, which are organised by the National House Building Council.
And site manager Shaun Forrester is hoping to pick up a national award for the first time, having also been named a North West regional winner back in Manchester last October.
George is a nine times national Pride in the Job champion and his latest North West success in the competition to find Britain’s best site managers came in the category for Sites With Fewer Than 50 Homes, thanks to the standard of work at our James Duffield Close homes development in Workington.
Shaun’s triumph came in the regional Single Home Builder category after judges were impressed by the quality of work at a luxury five-bedroom detached house at a development on an historic 10-acre farm at Greensyke Lane in Cumdivock, Dalston. Shaun is currently working at our re-development of the former Co-op store in Dalston.
George and Shaun will be among 47 regional winners attending the national finals at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel where the Supreme Winner will be announced.
Accompanying them will be fellow Lattimer Homes site manager Craig Wilson, who was among 130 regional Seal of Excellence winners in the Pride in the Job Awards, which are now in their 34th year. Craig was site manager at Upton Cottages, Caldbeck, where we have built three new bungalows.
