Lattimers Win Best In Britain Award

JJ Lattimer, which is part of the Lattimer Group, beat off competition from all over the UK to win a top national title at the Daily Telegraph British Homes BuildQuality Awards in London.

We were judged the best in Britain for the quality of our Midcroft Court housing development in the village of Dean near Cockermouth.
Judges who visited the site described our work as “beautifully-crafted.”

Our victory in the prestigious annual awards was in the category for developments of up to 50 homes. All properties at Midcroft Court have been sold.

Director George Lattimer was at the awards ceremony at London’s Marriott Hotel when the winner was announced in September 2011. He
said: “It is an absolutely fantastic achievement for a family-run Cumbrian company to go down to London and come back as winners of such a prestigious national award.

“We have won a lot of awards over many years for the quality of our work but this one is the best yet. It’s a tribute to all the hard work and dedication all our staff put in. We have a great team.

“We always pride ourselves on our attention to detail – that and the quality of our homes and their superior design. That is how we outshine competitors.”
